1. General Acknowledgment
Participant acknowledges that the Cash Cup Golf tournament is a skill-based hole-in-one competition and not a game of chance, sweepstakes, or gambling activity.
Each tournament offers a fixed Cash Cup prize amount established at the start of that tournament. Cash Cup Golf and the host location reserve the right to increase the prize amount prior to a win; however, the prize amount will not be reduced once a tournament has begun.
Participant understands that rules, scoring methods, and verification processes may be updated, provided such updates do not reduce the prize for an active tournament.
2. Tournament Format
- Participants attempt a hole-in-one shot at a designated target meeting USGA hole standards.
- A valid hole-in-one is defined as a single stroke resulting in the ball coming to rest fully within the target cup.
- Upon a verified winning shot, the tournament immediately concludes and resets into a new tournament period.
3. Registration and Participation Requirements
- Participation is initiated through the official Cash Cup Golf kiosk system.
- No purchase is necessary to participate. Each participant is eligible to receive one (1) complimentary entry (one ball) upon initial registration.
- Additional entries may be purchased through the kiosk. Cash Cup Golf reserves the right to limit or restrict the use of complimentary entries to prevent abuse.
- Participant must provide a valid mobile phone number, which serves as their unique identifier.
- Participant agrees to receive SMS communications related to gameplay, verification, and prize claims.
- Failure to provide accurate contact information may result in inability to claim winnings.
4. Age Requirement and Minor Participation
- Participant affirms they are 18 years of age or older, or have permission to participate.
- If a verified winner is under 18 years of age, the participant will not receive a cash prize and will instead receive a golf-equipment voucher redeemable through designated retail partners.
- The value of such voucher will be substantial and reasonably proportionate to the Cash Cup prize, but less than the full cash prize amount, as determined by Cash Cup Golf in its reasonable discretion.
5. Verification and Prize Eligibility
- All potential winning shots are subject to mandatory verification using system data, ball tracking, and recorded camera footage.
- A winning shot is not considered final until confirmed through the verification process.
- Cash Cup Golf reserves the sole right to validate, deny, or void any claim based on review of all available data.
- Any attempt to manipulate equipment, interfere with gameplay, or circumvent system controls will result in immediate disqualification.
6. Electronic Signatures and Records
- Participant agrees that all registrations, acknowledgments, tax forms, and prize claims may be executed electronically.
- Electronic signatures shall have the same legal effect as handwritten signatures.
- Participant consents to the use of digital identity verification, document submission, and secure electronic recordkeeping systems.
- Withdrawal of consent may result in ineligibility to participate or receive prizes.
7. Tax Responsibility and Reporting
All winners are required to submit appropriate tax documentation prior to receiving any Cash Cup prize, including but not limited to:
