The full terms below govern in all cases. Please read them in full.

1.General Acknowledgment

Participant acknowledges that the Cash Cup Golf tournament is a skill-based hole-in-one competition and not a game of chance, sweepstakes, or gambling activity.

Each tournament offers a fixed Cash Cup prize amount established at the start of that tournament.

Cash Cup Golf and the host location reserve the right to increase the prize amount prior to a win; however, the prize amount will not be reduced once a tournament has begun.

Participant understands that rules, scoring methods, and verification processes may be updated, provided such updates do not reduce the prize for an active tournament.

2.Tournament Format

  • Participants attempt a hole-in-one shot at a designated target meeting USGA hole standards.
  • A valid hole-in-one is defined as a single stroke resulting in the ball coming to rest fully within the target cup.
  • Upon a verified winning shot, the tournament immediately concludes and resets into a new tournament period.

3.Registration and Participation Requirements

  • Participation is initiated through the official Cash Cup Golf kiosk system.
  • No purchase is necessary to participate. Each participant is eligible to receive one (1) complimentary entry (one ball) upon initial registration.
  • Additional entries may be purchased through the kiosk.
  • Cash Cup Golf reserves the right to limit or restrict the use of complimentary entries to prevent abuse.
  • Participant must provide a valid mobile phone number, which serves as their unique identifier.
  • Participant agrees to receive SMS communications related to gameplay, verification, and prize claims.
  • Failure to provide accurate contact information may result in inability to claim winnings.

4.Age Requirement and Minor Participation

  • Participant affirms they are 18 years of age or older, or have permission to participate.
  • If a verified winner is under 18 years of age, the participant will not receive a cash prize and will instead receive a golf-equipment voucher redeemable through designated retail partners.
  • The value of such voucher will be substantial and reasonably proportionate to the Cash Cup prize, but less than the full cash prize amount, as determined by Cash Cup Golf in its reasonable discretion.

5.Verification and Prize Eligibility

  • All potential winning shots are subject to mandatory verification using system data, ball tracking, and recorded camera footage.
  • A winning shot is not considered final until confirmed through the verification process.
  • Cash Cup Golf reserves the sole right to validate, deny, or void any claim based on review of all available data.
  • Any attempt to manipulate equipment, interfere with gameplay, or circumvent system controls will result in immediate disqualification.

6.Electronic Signatures and Records

  • Participant agrees that all registrations, acknowledgments, tax forms, and prize claims may be executed electronically.
  • Electronic signatures shall have the same legal effect as handwritten signatures.
  • Participant consents to the use of digital identity verification, document submission, and secure electronic recordkeeping systems.
  • Withdrawal of consent may result in ineligibility to participate or receive prizes.

7.Tax Responsibility and Reporting

All winners are required to submit appropriate tax documentation prior to receiving any Cash Cup prize, including but not limited to:

  • Form W-9 (U.S. persons)
  • Form W-8BEN or W-8ECI (foreign participants)

Failure to provide required documentation within a reasonable timeframe may result in forfeiture of the prize. Cash Cup Golf will issue required tax reporting forms (including Form 1099-MISC where applicable) in accordance with applicable law.

8.Payment Terms

  • All Cash Cup prizes are issued by Cash Cup Golf.
  • Prize payments are typically processed within 3–5 business days following successful verification and submission of all required documentation.
  • Payment methods may include ACH transfer, digital payment platforms, or mailed check.

9.Non-Refundability of Entry Fees

  • All entry fees are non-refundable once a participant begins play or a tournament is active.
  • No refunds will be issued for unused balls, expired play windows, or failure to complete play.
  • Refunds, if any, are issued solely at the discretion of Cash Cup Golf.

10.Force Majeure

Cash Cup Golf and the host location are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond their control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather events
  • Power or system failures
  • Network outages
  • Government actions

In such cases, tournaments may be suspended or canceled without additional compensation.

11.Liability Release

  • Participant assumes all risks associated with golf activity.
  • Participant releases Cash Cup Golf, the host location, and affiliates from liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation.
  • Liability is limited to the amount of the entry fee paid, if any.

12.Fair Play and Equipment Rules

  • Only authorized balls and equipment may be used.
  • Any manipulation of the system, equipment, or gameplay mechanics will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Cash Cup Golf reserves the right to suspend or terminate participation at its discretion.

13.Publicity and Use of Likeness

Participant grants Cash Cup Golf and the host location permission to use their name, likeness, and gameplay footage for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation.

14.Dispute Resolution

  • Participants have 2 hours from the time balls were dispensed to file a claim in the event a hole-in-one is made and no text verification is received.
  • Any dispute can be started by sending a text back to the number from which you received your code.
  • Any legal dispute arising from participation shall be governed by the laws of the state in which the tournament is hosted.
  • Participant agrees to binding arbitration as the exclusive method of resolving disputes, except where prohibited by law.
